I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty with an intermittent problem. If the drive over a hump that makes the front of the vehicle, compress, and sometimes I can sound soft to hard to crack. The noise seems to happen to encounter, to release pressure on the front. I've never been able to reproduce the noise by jumping in front while parked in the driveway.

I drove three times in three different places, without success. I took it to the dealer, a specialist on the front and a mechanic in general. The noise is happening over a year and are at times, not where you hear the noise will come back from one month to one day.

I spoke with the dealership, where I replaced the hinges. They said that replacement would fix the noise. Um, no.

Suggestions?
